Uchenna Cyril Anioke, Ph.D. is a distinguished leader in the Nigerian publishing and media sectors, a renowned expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and a dynamic media personality. He currently serves as the National President of the Nigerian Publishers Association (NPA) and is an active Member of the Executive Committee of the International Publishers Association (IPA) based in Geneva, Switzerland.
He is also the Group Managing Director of Acena Publishers Nigeria Limited and Pens and Voices Nigeria Limited, two influential companies with corporate headquarters in Enugu, Southeast Nigeria. While Acena Publishers is dedicated to book publishing, Pens and Voices is an integrated media organization with a strong footprint in broadcasting, print, and online journalism.

Anioke is a passionate educator with a deep commitment to fostering knowledge and academic growth. He holds a B.A. in History and an M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He further earned a Doctorate in Mass Communication from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). From 1993 to 1999, Anioke introduced and taught Publishing Studies to Mass Communication students at ESUT and Skills of Conflict Resolution to Political Science students. He continues to contribute as a visiting/adjunct lecturer at the Institute of Peace, Conflict, and Development Studies at ESUT.

Anioke is the host of the popular weekly talk show “Freedom Square Live” on Solid 100.9 FM, a program that enjoys widespread popularity across Southeast Nigeria. He also hosts the “Dispute Resolution Arena,” a live mediation program where listeners call in for expert advice on resolving disputes and conflicts.
His expertise in media and conflict resolution also extends to his role as the Managing Editor of Freedom Square TV, a live-streaming, news-oriented social TV platform.

Anioke is a leading expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and a certified mediator. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), where he also serves on its Governing Council and is the Vice President of Communications and Strategy. He has facilitated numerous ADR training sessions for judges, magistrates, professors, political, traditional, and religious leaders, both in Nigeria and internationally.
Anioke is widely recognized as a neutral in various high-profile dispute resolution centers, including the Enugu State Multi-Door Court House, the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dispute Resolution Centre, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Centre in Geneva, Switzerland.
